LEAP-Guilford

 Southside Baptist Church is proud to host LEAP (Literacy Empowers All People), a nonprofit dropout intervention program dedicated to empowering children from cradle to college and families through literacy.

LEAP is the premier afterschool college preparatory program that emphasizes academics, character and leadership development for youth from K-12. Its academic focus is STREAM (Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts and Math). As part of its holistic developmental approach, LEAP also includes enrichment, fun activities, events and outings along with its sports and fitness programs that include football, basketball, soccer, cheerleading and dance.
